- 200g unsalted butter
- 200g dark chocolate (70% cocoa solids), chopped
- 3 large eggs
- 300g granulated sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 125g plain flour
- pinch salt
- 100g white chocolate, cut into chunks
- 100g walnut pieces
- 100g dried cranberries

Description
Brownies are my favourite sweet treat, so I have added a Christmassy touch to these. You might find people drop by a second time just to get another taste.

1. Preheat the oven to 180C/160C fan/gas 4. Grease a 20cm x 30cm baking tin, 3-4cm deep, and line with greaseproof paper. Melt the butter and the dark chocolate in a bowl over a saucepan of simmering water.
2. With an electric hand whisk, beat together the eggs, sugar and vanilla extract until they are thick and creamy. Mix in the melted chocolate and butter. Stir in the flour, salt, white chocolate, walnuts and cranberries.
3. Pour into the baking tin and cook for about 25 minutes until the top is cracking and the centre is just set. Leave to cool for about 20 minutes, then cut into squares.
