Description

This is a great and easy accompaniment to pork and even works well as topping for my 'Awesome Cheesecake'!

Method

  1. 1

Peel, decore and chop the apples into cubes. Add the water, sugar and apples to a medium saucepan and heat. Add the cinnamon stick and stir in until the apple softens.

Add the calvados and keep heating until a soft but chunky result is achieved. Remove the cinnamon stick and transfer to a serving bowl to cool.

Will keep in sealed container for three days in the fridge.
