This beautiful rose wine is made entirely from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, fruit driven, refreshing with abundance of berry flavours and a pleasant long finish.

Description

Me and my friends always get together on bonfire night. This year is my turn to host the party.

Method

    1.Preheat the oven to 150Β°C, gas mark 2.
    2.Grease and line a 20cm square cake tin
    3. Heat the butter in a saucepan with the black treacle, golden syrup and sugar over a low heat, than allow to cool.
    4.Sieve the flour with the ginger, cinnamon and bicarbonate of soda into a large mixing bowl, then stir in the oatmeal.
    5Make a well in the centre and add the cooled syrup mixture, stirring.
    6.Then stir in the beaten egg and mil.
    7.Pour into the prepared tin and cook for 1-1ΒΌ hours, until just firm to the touch.
    8.Leave in the tin to cool completely.
    9.Remove from the tin and cut into pieces.
