Ingredients
- 2 packs cooked and peeled king prawns
- 1 packed cooked mixed seafood
- 2 teaspoons tomato puree
- 2 cloves sliced garlic
- 3 teaspoons chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 splash single/double cream
- 1 handful chopped corriander
- 1Β½ cup long grain rice
- 1 diced onion
- 2 diced green peppers
- 1 chicken stock/jelly cube

quick and easy and maybe a bit lazy but still tastes delicious

wash all seafood and prawns in a seive and season with salt and pepper and leave to one side
Put your 1 cup of rice into a sauce pan add 2 1/2 cups of cold water and stock cube/jelly and simmer on a medium heat with lid on for about 10 mins or until water has dissolved ( if rice is still not cooked add a little more water)
In another pan heat up on a high heat a generous knob of butter when butter melts add chilli powder, paprika, 1 tablespoon of pasata and tomato puree, fry until a paste is formed and add a little water
Add Onions, garlic and peppers and fry until softened
Add prawns and seafood and mix until covered in the spices
Add a splash of cream and another tablespoon of pasata and mix in well with a wooden spoon
Put lid on pan turn temparature down and leave to simmer for about 10 mins
When rice is cooked drain off excess water and add to seafood and mix
before serving throw chopped corriander over the top

This recipes also tastes great with pasta such as tagliatele or linguini instead of rice
