Origin Pinot Grigio Organic

The nation's favourite tipple in an organic bundle. A great value wine,Β from Italy's ever popular Pinot Grigio grape. This wine is perfectly balanced with juicy pear and peach notes and soft floral aromas

Method

  1. 1

Okay ready, beat the sugar and fat together until it is light and fluffy. Add the flour and mix until the mixture binds together.

Turn the mixture on to a floured surface and then knead until smooth. Roll out to a shape of an oblong about 4mm thick and then cut into strips (1X3inch).

Then cut out three circles with a 1.5cm pastry cutter or a piping nozzle only on half of the strips.

Leave the other strips without holes.
Now place all of the strips on baking sheets and place in a preheated oven (gas mark 3/160oC(325oF) for about 15 to 20 minutes, until lightly golden.

When cooked leave to cool on the baking sheets.
Now for the icing, fun but can be messy.
Divide the icing into three containers and colour each with a few drops of icing.

Spread the whole biscuits with a thin layer of jam and place the biscuits with the holes on top.
Fill the holes with each of the coloured icing and there you have it traffic light biscuits.
This mixture makes about nine biscuits.
