Ingredients
- Olive Oil for Frying
- 200g Lean Minced Beef
- 200g MInced Pork
- toasted sesame oil
- 2 garlic cloves
- 5cm Peice fresh ginger root. peeled and finely chopped
- 1-2 Red Chillies. deseeded and finely sliced
- 1 Tbsp Brown Sugar
- 1 Tbsp Fish Sauce
- 1 lime (zested and juiced)
- 3 Spring onions trimmed and chopped
- sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 2 little gem lettuces
- 1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1 tsp Sesame Oil
- ยฝ Red Chilli. deseeded and finely sliced
- Small Bunch coriander leaves. finely chopped
- 1-2 tsp Fish Sauce
- 1 tsp Brown Sugar
- 1 Tbsp Olive Oil

Nederburg Cabernet Sauvignon Rose
This beautiful rose wine is made entirely from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, fruit driven, refreshing with abundance of berry flavours and a pleasant long finish.

1. Heat a large frying pan and add a little oil, Mix the minced beef and pork together. Season with salt and pepper and mix well to ensure the seasoning is even distributed. Fry the mince in the hot pan for 5-7 minutes until crisp and brown and broken down to a fine consistency. Drain the crisped mince in a seive - this wil help it to stay crisp.
2. Wipe out the pan and add a tablespoon of oasted sesame oil. Add the garlic, ginger and chilli. Fry with a pinch of salt and the sugar for 2 minutes. Add the drained mince and stir to mix.
3. Add fish sauce and heat through. Stir in the lime zest and 1/2 of the lime juice, then add the srping onions, stirring for 30 seconds. Turn off the heat.
4. Mix all the dressing ingredients together: 1 Tbsp Soy, 1/2 juice of lime, 1 tsp sesame oil, 1/2 red chilli finely chopped, fresh coriander, 1- tsp fish sauce, 1 tso brown sugar and 1 tsp olive oil.
5. To serve, spoon some of the mince mixture into the lettuce leaves, drizzle with a little dressing.
