1. Pre heat your grill on full power.
2. Grate your cheese until you feel you have enough to cover two slices of toast.
3. Put your beans in a pan and cook.
4. Whilst your beans are cooking, put your bread in the toaster/grill and toast.
5. When the toast is ready, place on a grill tray. Put cooked baked beans on each slice of toast so that it almost covers it (leave approx. 1cm of room around the outside of the toast).
6. Sprinkle your grated cheese over the top of the beans and toast.
7. Place your tray under the grill and leave for approximately 1 minute or until the cheese has melted.
Your cheesey Beanos are now ready to eat.
Enjoy!!!
Chef's Tips
If you like a bit of spice in your food then try adding chilli flakes to the cheese before putting it on beans and toast.
Cheesy beans are ace!! perfect for a quick and filling fix! So pleased its not just us!
We do a slightly different version in that we mix the cheese into the beans in the pan so it all melts together and then pour over toast... mmmmmmmmm.
Also, adding to left over macaroni cheese is always a winner too! ;)
