Description
Jamie Oliver's recipe which I used for christmas 2011 and everybody LOVED it. I would recommend preparing on christmas eve, then just reheating in a hot oven on christmas day.

1.Preheat Oven to 200 degrees C/gas mark 6.
2. Place the meat in a large bowl and grate in onions and apples on the coarse side of grater.
3.Add breadcrumbs, crumbled chestnuts and snip in the sage leaves (retaining four large leaves.)
4. Season well, crack in the egg then use your hands to scrunch all the ingredients together.
5.Place in an ovenproof dish (approx 30cm x 16cm) and top with the remaining sage leaves.
6. Drizzle with a little olive oil then bake for 45 minutes until golden and cooked through.
