Description
We decided the other Sunday to make a roast with all the trimmings These yorkies were really simple to make and go in the oven while the roast is resting.
Method
-
1
1 - Heat the oven to 230 degree C
2 - Drizzle a little groundnut oil equally into 2x4 hole yorkshire tin or 12 hole muffin tin and put into oven to heat up
3 - To make batter beat the flour and eggs together until smooth. Gradually add the milk while you continue to whisk until the mixture is completely lump free. Season with the mustard and salt and give it one final mix. Pour the batter into a jug
4 - Remove the hot tin from the oven, then carefully and evenly pour the batter into each hole. Place back into the oven and allow to bake for 20-25 minutes until they have puffed up and browned. Ensure you do not oven the oven door until after 20 minutes as they could deflate.
