Description

I used to order this all the time when we went out for dinner but never attempted to make it before.

I read lots of recipes and combined all my face bits to make this one!!

Method

  1. 1

    1. steam the salmon (You can do this by making a foil parcel with a tiny bit of oil and some salt and pepper in the oven)

    2. Put the linguine on to boil in some salted water.

    3. Fry the onion, don't brown it. Once cooked add the creme fraiche, the zest of the lemon and the horseradish..

Let simmer for 4 or 5 mins.

    4. Add the salmon broken up into pieces, the prawns and some chopped parslet.

    Season and mix in well.

    5. Drain the linguine then toss through the creme fraich/ salmon mix and add some lemon juice.

Plate up and serve with some crusy bread or spinach... Oh and of course a large glass of crisp, cold white wine

Hey Lyndsey,Yeah definitely try the different herbs, cooking is all about changing recipes to suit what you like. I'm not a massive horseradish fan either but it did add a nice flavour to the recipe. You could always add less if you decide you wont like it :) x

Im really curious about the Horseradish. Does it give it a kick? Also i'm not a fan of parsley but think Dill goes with Salmon. You think that'll be ok?
